According to Mind.org approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience mental health challenges each year. Modern day pressures and the lack of community and support can add to feelings of loneliness, isolation and it can be hard to know where to go to access help.
I know from personal experience how lonely it can be to battle the inner demons on the inside and maintain a smile on the outside. Being a support for others but feeling like you can't ask for support in return. Shouldering lots of responsibilities and carrying "the mental load" of all the things to do and yet to be done. Of high expectations of perfection that put even more stress and strain. The brutal and nasty self talk that makes you wince and keeps you low, but feel powerless to change.
I have been to those dark places and I found the light. I found my strength. I began to find love, compassion and kindness for myself through tapping. I started speaking kindly to myself. I learned how to nurture myself and ask for help. I lowered the expectations I put on myself, without lowering my standards, and gave myself more time to get things done to take the pressure off. I started to laugh more and I remember that first flicker of excitement when it came back. It was such a joy! Like an old friend that I hadn't seen for a while and who I was so glad to reconnect with. Life became lighter, more fun, my shoulders were less burdened and I could finally relax. I would love for you to experience that too.

What is EFT?
If you aren't familiar with EFT, check out the Free Stuff page where you can watch an EFT demo. It's a really simple tool you can use to relieve stress and anxiety. You tap on particular meridian points on your head, face, body and hands and it helps to calm the fight, flight, freeze part of your brain called the amygdala. There are lots of different applications for it, like stress relief, releasing trauma and negative emotions, overcoming cravings and addictions and it helps you to feel calm, positive and energised.
How will you make sure it's relevant for me?
I have prepared an application survey for the participants to complete which lets me know what their aims and objectives are so I can tailor the sessions and ensure that everyone has an opportunity to get what they want out of the sessions.
There will be common themes and I will teach you techniques that you can use in your life, not just during the workshops but ongoing resources that you can use long after the sessions are over.
What if I don't want to share my story with others?
The beauty of tapping is that you do not have to share out loud anything that you do not wish to share. We can tap on feelings, colours and words and can make the tapping story-free.
I know it can feel vulnerable to open up to others and I would like to reassure you that I will facilitate a safe space, and we can all co-create the way we work together to ensure we agree on key themes like confidentiality, how much we share/don't share, ensuring everyone gets value, and the values that are important to use like, support, kindness and non-judgement.
How will I feel after a session?
I like to bring humour to tapping where appropriate and would like to make the sessions enjoyable and fun. We may be lighting up the darkness, but we aren't going to stay there. We will always end the session with positive, energising rounds so you will leave feeling lighter, brighter, empowered, confident, grounded and optimistic.
How much is it?
Your investment to improving your wellness is £120 for 6 sessions which includes refreshments.
Preferably the price will be paid in advance as I need to cover the venue costs. It also ensures that everyone is committed for the full 6 sessions and we can keep the flow going. If you need to discuss paying in installments, please add that into the notes section of the survey.
